Lamberts

First of all, the BBQ was really really good, as were the sides. We agreed that the sausage was the standout best we've sampled thus far. My husband did not like the orange marmalade glaze on the ribs, but he doesn't like ribs - I thought it was a nice touch. Lambert's is situated in Downtown Austin a block or so from the river. It "felt" more like Pecan Lodge then anywhere else TMMBBQ Top 50 we've gotten to thus far. The venue is perfect for introducing out of State people to excellent Texas BBQ. I loved the white linens and didn't miss the flies at all! The service was impeccable.
