The way to love someone
is to lightly run your finger over that person's soul
until you find a crack,
and then gently pour your love into that crack.

Went to the local recycling center to drop off a bunch of wire clothes hangers
... all those different bins were pretty interesting to see.
Lotsa empty bottles!

If I ever "do" an authentic bottle tree I sure know where to look!
..................

And this, sent along from a friend:

"Reason, the head, speaks to us the word Nothing!  Imagination, the heart, the word All! and between all and nothing, by the fusion of the all and the nothing within us, we live in God, who is All, and God lives in us who, without Him, are nothing.  Reason reiterates, Vanity of vanities! all is vanity!  And imagination answers, Plenitude of plenitudes! all is plenitude!  And thus we live in the vanity of plenitude or the plenitude of vanity."
~ from Miguel de Unamuno's book "A Tragic Sense of Life"

......................

I was going to "save" it by tagging it on to a Thanksgiving note
then I remembered all these empty bottles
not as trash, but as tokens of plenty
and as a celebration of "more then enough"
.
Wine is not a necessity in our home.
It is reserved for special times.
Wine speaks of joy.

I think this mound of empty bottles is a good illustration of the quote.
Plentitude/Vanities
what one might see when they look at something
we look with our mind, we look with our heart
to see insists on both I think.

I love that the glass is "recycled" ... refilled, useful again ... maybe even as a vessel destined for a celebratory feast.
