visited several Alabama State buildings yesterday

The red brick building to the left framed by a pane at the top of this spiraling climb ... King's church.
Montgomery feels unresolved to me ... and stagnant ... or, well I'm still thinking about it. It should feel better there then it does and I can't quite figure out why ... it is disquieting. Anyway ... pics from yesterday's stroll.

some of it's gold leaf ... some of it is trompe l' oeil (is an art technique that uses realistic imagery to create the optical illusion) ... pretty much summarizes the feel of the day's ramblings.
