The way to love someone
is to lightly run your finger over that person's soul
until you find a crack,
and then gently pour your love into that crack.

Contemporary Homes near water

Saving these photos ... I like elements of each and can see the common design ideas.
The finished houses are a little minimalist/austere for my preferences. I would "soften" this architecture with interior additions ... Like comfy couches and art choices. And I wonder where the messiness that is real life ... Where is the junk drawer in these homes?

Australian designer Simon Laws of Anthill Constructions has designed the Drew House, located on the Queensland coast of Australia. There was no photo credit, but lots of beautiful images. This was described by one person as bush architecture at its finest ... Another noticed a bit of ISS inspiration. I like the house ... The pavilion entry is very inviting. Nico van der Meulen Architects have designed the House Aboobaker in Limpopo, South Africa. This was the remodel of an older home ... Stunningly successful. The water element is perfectly executed I think. Of course I like the openness ...windows to see out.

Stelle Architects have designed the Dune Road Residence in Bridgehampton, New York

Stelle Architects low key and non-invasive approach is inspired by indigenous forms and materials as we strive to create environments that respect the beauty and fragility of the natural landscape. We set out to marry sustainable design principles with a modern and inquisitive spirit that reflects the legacy of experimental design. A smaller footprint is one of our primary goals.

This is a two bedroom home. Again, for me a bit linear, but there is a lot to like in this tiny jewel box home. How does bathing privacy work? I would love to see out, but it would see rather strange to wave to the neighbors from the tub ... .
